Shavu'ot - Festival of Weeks
Shavu'ot is celebrated each year on the 6th of Sivan. It is the Jewish holiday that celebrates the giving of the Torah, the first harvest, and the ripening of the first fruits. It's known as the Festival of Weeks as it falls exactly 7 weeks from the end of the 2nd day of Passover in the Hebrew calendar. |
