Canberra does not have a kosher butcher shop or a kosher delicatessen.  Coles Supermarket in Manuka and Belconnen no longer has kosher sections for non perishable goods. Many pre-packed products excluding meat are generally available at local supermarkets.

You can find a great range of kosher products at any IGA store, Coles and Supabarn.  There is also a fantastic range of groceries and products at the various delis situated within the Belconnen Fresh Food Markets. 

Those who keep kosher put in orders once a month at the ACT Jewish Community Centre. The Executive Secretary coordinates them and arranges transport from Melbourne to the Centre.  She can be contacted on 6295 1052 between 9 am and 3 pmon week days.  The Community also stocks and sells frozen challah and a small range of other products such as wine, candles, chocolates, pickles, horseradish and a variety of cheeses.
