FARFEL

Welcome to the FARFEL page of Jewish World Life Online

Farfel is a small egg-based pasta or broken matzo product rooted in Central and Eastern European Jewish traditions, using a Yiddish name derived from Middle High German.

They are tiny pellet-shaped egg noodles (sometimes called egg barley) or broken pieces of matzo used during Passover.
